Vegan products in the spotlight

The visitors of Bio Festival had the chance to discover a wide range of vegan products and attend speeches by vegan experts.

At a time when more and more people around the world are adopting the vegan diet, the 2nd Bio Festival, followed and supported this trend by hosting exhibitors with vegan products as well as specialized presentations during the Workshops & Seminars event.

So, exhibitors -who produce or import vegan products exclusively or have integrated in their portfolio vegan products- got in touch with thousands of professionals who want to include vegan products on their businesses or on their restaurants menu, but they had the chance to present their products to consumers who opt for vegan products for their diet.

In addition, through the presentations of the Workshops & Seminars that took place in Conference Hall D10, the visitors of the festival had the opportunity to learn everything about this global trend and find answers to their questions. Among the very interesting speeches were those of Niki Haya aka Lady Papaya and Machi Dimakidou, owner of the Vegan Pastry Shop Little Darling, on how we can raise vegan children in Greece. Also, Vassilis Kagias, Vegan pastry chef talked about the basic principles of vegan confectionery. Another important topic that was analyzed by Mary Manolelli, CEO of Vegan Times was Greenwashing: How to avoid it if you are a business and how to recognize it if you are a consumer. Of course, many other topics were analyzed by experts in the vegan field, during the three days of the Workshops & Seminars.
